Biography

I have nine years of literary and writing experience ranging from sales to editing to writing including MA work in Literary Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas.

I’ve been writing poetry since I was ten years old and have had them published in anthologies. My most famous editing job was for Tom Horton, the co-author with Yogi Berra. I helped Mr. Horton edit his book about the creator of Sun Properties, Del Webb. We were both living in Phoenix, AZ at the time.

While living in Arizona, I had the opportunity to join the Oil and Gas industry which eventually transferred me to Houston, TX. I have almost 20 years of downstream value chain oil and gas experience ranging from A/P to logistics to contracts to analytics including MBA work in Management and Strategy at Western Governor’s University.

As a project development business analyst I have been responsible for the execution of comprehending business requirements of the end user groups. This was needed to develop analytics to draft specifications and support development of visualization tools and to further support IT testing and validation of analytical models. I also consolidated user feedback from user testing, worked with developers to remediate issues and created training materials in order to clarify a more streamlined product.

Through all of the phases, my data entry, typing, and office organization has only increased. Data entry keystrokes are 15000 and my typing is 70 WPM, both with less than 1% error rate. I have helped family and friends with their business ideas. I created my own non-profit to help the homeless people of my area. The 501c3 has been in existence since 2018 and has several donors, volunteers, and grateful homeless clients. I advise new non-profits via an online group and wrote a book on this same advice.

I offer all of these skills to my clients now via freelance.
